All Wellness Days Team Members are accountable to the Special Events Coordinator and the VP Student Life of the Federation of Students with guidance from the University of Waterloo Athletics and Peer Health Education.
Welcome Week is a termly week of events that is intended to welcome new and returning students to campus at the beginning of the term. All Welcome Team Members will execute campus-wide events throughout the week and act as a representative of the Federation of Students to ensure University of Waterloo students have the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging events to enrich their student experience beyond academics.
The Federation of Students (Feds) is seeking a team of motivated students who are passionate about peer-to-peer support and getting involved with our more than 250 clubs. The Clubs Support Team mandate is to serve, empower, and represent the Feds’ clubs. The goal is to assist clubs carry out both their club purpose, as well as their current club goals.
The Co-op Fee Review Student Advisory Panel acts as a key source of student input during the co-op fee review process. The group represents Waterloo undergraduate student experiences with the cooperative education program at the University, and is invited to make recommendations throughout the process to ensure the student voice is well represented.

They are currently looking to hire someone who has great time management skills, can multi task, organize and provide exceptional customer service to those up late at night too!
Do you have experience working in restaurant kitchens and are looking to further your skills? The Bombshelter Pub is currently seeking out students to help with all the kitchen prep and various tasks in the kitchen. Further your skills by working along side professional chefs and kitchen masters.
The Feds Graphic Designer is part of a dynamic team of paid undergraduate student staff that assist in the advertising of all of the Feds special events, clubs, societies, student run services, advocacy and commercial operations on campus with the goal to enhance student awareness of Feds and all programs, services and initiatives that it coordinates.
The Federation of Students Commercial Services department organizes and executes all marketing materials and promotions for the 6 services in the Student Life Centre. We are looking for applicants who want to gain experience in marketing, advertising, design and project coordination to join our team for the term and gain valuable industry experience.

The Feds Marketing and Communications department is hiring one student to work part-time as a Communications Assistant for the fall term. This position is perfect for anyone looking for experience with writing and public relations.
Feds is hiring a Photographer for the fall term. As a member of the Feds Marketing and Communications department, the Photographer will report to and work closely with the Communications & Media Relations Specialist for 5-8 hours a week. The Photographer will produce content for use on Feds.ca and Feds social media.
Accountable for the administration of selected advocacy based student-run services and related program, events and activities. Supervise and mentor student leaders in areas of their service as well as budget management and programming and evaluation tools. To assist Campus Life Department with organizing and facilitating events and managing event based volunteer groups.
The role of Marketing Assistant - Special Events & Student Services provides support to the Marketing Specialist - Special Events & Student Services within the Federation of Students Marketing & Communications department. This portfolio supports the Campus Life department's initiatives, including the 13 student-run services and special events like Welcome Week and Wellness Days. This position is 15 - 20 hours per week, ideally spread out over at least three days of the week, between Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Come make movies with us! Feds is hiring a part-time Videographer. As a member of the Feds Marketing and Communications department, the Videographer will report to and work closely with the Communications & Media Relations Specialist for 6-10 hours a week. The Videographer will produce promotional video content and event coverage for use on Feds.ca and social media.

The Bombshelter Pub Team is always looking for enthusiastic, hard-working students to assist in the service of great food and overall experience at student-friendly prices.
To further the Federation of Students (Feds) engagement with and amplifying the student voice at Waterloo, the Feds Promotional Representatives operate on three key values: confidence, optimism and approachability. The team is composed of outgoing and positive students who assist in strategic marketing and planned promotions with the goal to enhance student awareness of Feds and all programs, services, and initiatives that it coordinates.
Volunteer positions include Section Editors for Arts & Sports, Head Designer, Graphic Editor, Video Editor, Satellite Campus Editor.
Assisting the Advertising and Production Manager with existing and new cold-call sales, for the purpose of advertisers promoting their business in Imprint to the UW community and the general public in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and Stratford.
Assisting the Executive Editor to ensure daily postings are completed for Imprint social-media channels. Connect with readers, develop content, multitask assignments from various departments and use social-media analytical tools to measure key metrics for editorial and advertising.
Enthusiastic attitude about writing and Imprint in general. Experience in transcribing, interviewing, research. Ability to plan and write full articles quickly and without assistance.
