The Glow Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity is celebrating Coming Out Week (external link) with events at the University of Waterloo from Wednesday, October 3 until Friday, October 12.

What is Coming Out Week?

"Thanksgiving weekend is a very common time for students to come out to their families," said Amanda Fitzpatrick, Glow Centre coordinator. "As this can be a difficult process, we wanted to be able to support students both before and after the break. Whether students have come out or not, this week brings us all together as a community of love and support.”

You can find Amanda and other members of The Glow Centre at events, activities, and discussions in the upcoming two weeks. All students are welcome to participate in Coming Out Week events.
